My hope is to create a monthly post that is all about events for people of color here in the Twin Cities. I follow Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms not just for myself as an artist, but also to see what other local artist are doing. It is such an exciting time in the arts it seems that if one does not have a platform that insists that these community events are going down, one may never experience the great opportunities that lie right outside out front door. Its true, when some think of arts and innovation, they attribute these features with huge international cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Montreal, Paris, London, Tokyo, etc, but the Twin Cities has the advantage . We have everything that any amazing place has, we just don’t see the possibilities as others see it.
