Moon Captures Yellow Light

Dew on grass on a foggy morning, the sun disperses dimly in the thick air. Gardens glisten in the light, wafting a sweet smell of peonies, lilies and roses.

The marble of the pathway sure and certain, taking you on every resplendent vision.

The walks are slow, and the veranda is met with a lovely made breakfast table, with fresh coffee, piping hot.

There is chatter about a trip to the city, almost imperceptible under the sound of day jazz.

Soon we are hurried in to shower and dress for the day. The fabric laid before me lusters with sparkles and sheen. Perfectly made for a dazzling scene.

We enter the car, called at least an hour before, and make our way down the road to the landscape of glass buildings, and vibrance of the commute.

In the car, soul classics, and calendars, last minute prayers before the business of the day starts.

Dinner out at the new Vietnamese restaurant, drinking hibiscus tea, and eating rice paper rolls.

Decidedly, taking a stroll down the boardwalk of the closest lake, watching the lights of the city sparkle under the shine of the moon, and the deep purple sky. You and I all glow with a light only love birds caste, in the essence of togetherness. Shared kisses, stolen moments, before we head to the car again, another prayer for the beauty of the day, as we make our way, back home.
