This past week was very busy, and in a way it was quite unexpected.
I went out on the town with my sister Tiffany. We checked out The Living Room at the W. Their lounge seating has a modern edgy decor with an assortment of drinks.
After that we went to Porzana, an Argentina Restaurant which was really brief. My sister got in line to go to the downstairs speakeasy which was a very pleasant surprise.
I am really starting to love decor that brings the outside in. I love plantopias and large porcelain pots. It just gives me the feels.
Anyway, my sister had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I made what looked like a meager lobster roll, but it was actually quite delicious. Us ladies had a ball.
I give the night a 10 out of 10!

Next up was the next Sunday morning. As hard as it was, my friend convinced me to get up and go to the Farmer’s Market in North Minneapolis.
It has been years since I have gone. It was a pleasant experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The price of produce was more than reasonable.
I eat veggie heavy meals and want to be better at making veggie inspired meals. I was delighted at all the colors of fruit and meeting the vendors.
My friend Mariah and I split our produce and I spent a week loving the meals I prepared and taking pictures of my plating.
The next Sunday, this past Sunday my Mom and I went back and picked up some items. I truly enjoy shopping for produce in open air markets.

The same day Mariah and I attended the Farmer’s Market I went to another event. I also was invited via LinkedIn as a writer to attend A Taste of Vintage Event later that day. There was plenty of food that paired well with wine. We are introduced to the new director Nicole, and she was interviewed by Faye Price a pillar in the theatre community. I met a lot of different theatre patrons.
I had a fabulous time. I look forward to Fall/Winter theater shows.

The next Event was the All Black Men’s Fashion Event. It was the 7th annual event, and for me personally it is year 3. The event is hosted by Richard Moody of IAMMOODY Design.
I always have an amazing time, the fashion who’s, who shows up, and looks great. It was a free all event. My cousin Lashonda and I attended this year.
We however ditched the high priced after party venue, Ava’s and went to Pimentos Jamaican Kitchen on Eastreet, Minneapolis instead.

My cousin Lashonda and me!
More to come as we step into Fall🍁
Thank you for joining me, may GOD bless you all, in Jesus Christ name, Amen!
