May started with a little bit of rain and a whole lot of sun. May is inspired by the beauty of fresh flowers in every room, with open windows, great conversations, building community and being vulnerable.
The romance return when we allow ourselves to separate from social media and instead dress our day embracing both sunny and rainy days the same.

Don’t get me wrong I should be budgeting better to work narrower, it just so happens this is gala season, and the community artist in me really likes to grow and develop within different communities. There is my family is a community, work community, my Art Buddy community, the Open Mic at Snapped at the Greenroom community, there is the online community, WordPress is it’s own community in itself.
Here I develop within myself and allow myself to be vulnerable, to fail, success, and start again. It takes work, but who wants an easy life with no challenges
May is very eventful, so I am inspired by the simplicity of Denise Huxtable, when she wore the short straight bob.
Also Sade, simple ponytale, the story was in her smokey eye look, and vivid red lip color. Simple chic, is tres elegant.

Also the hair accessories! I am taking a break from my curls for as long as I can, so simple looks for blown out hair is key. The demand will be going from day to night. Long days, and being outside a lot. There are art festival, open mics, and fashion shows as of this past week, so we are going to jam pack as many inspirations in one place to encourage each and every one to start living, more than just existing, and enjoy your life as much as possible.
Food should be a an example of love and an expression of the life you want to live.

Before I write post I often survey co-workers, or people I meet randomly about topics of the day, to stay connected with how people think in real time.
I love featuring Minneapolis, and to some extent the Twin Cities. I have to get better about posting more often, shorter post. But here I am trying to push all of us to stay inspired.
