Marching Forward 2024 Moods

It is the last day of March and I finally have come to a place to write this post. At the end of March on this Resurrection Sunday, I must say it has taken the grace of God to be here

With so much going on and this has become a common phrase but the times are accelerating forward, and with no sense of truth or security in this world, I lean on Jesus Christ moment to moment as if I can’t see, holding on to his arm, as times become more and more uncertain.

I have watched tik tok inflation videos, cost of living videos and the verdict is in, a lot of us are just trying to hold it together. If it’s not burn out, depression or loneliness, one could just feel stuck, in this case allow yourself grace. Give yourself a win for still standing in the midst of rain. Give God  the glory for strength, resiliency, and the power to insure.

Not to be too plain Jane with it, but a humans needs are very basic. God, connection, water, clothing, shelter, and an outlet for expression.
We tend to complicate things by never being satisfied with what is. Sights always looking higher and this doesn’t help contentment or one’s mental health.

But what can one say, the internet pushes hustle culture, and overconsumerism. It is also a hotbed for scammers, which gives less is more a whole new meaning.

Ever the eat well, create ambiance, personal style, and wonderful places. Creativity is key when on a budget, or making meal ideas at home.

Going through storage, finding antiques, and becoming happy at the treasures of home is more than ok. It’s time to get back to joy, relaxation, prayer, and introspection. It’s also time to explore horizons you have never seen before.

I invested in 2 journals, I am motivating myself to stretch beyond a writer, artist, poet or dancer, I want to embrace my gifts without judgement, and with open arms. How about you?

March is marching out, but still forward. There may be obstacles, but what adventures don’t have them?

Let’s go, everyone together through this 2024. That is all for now, may God bless you in Christ who is the truth, way and life Jesus!

Until Next Time
